    Le titre professionnel est le terme utilisé pour décrire la pratique professionnelle variant et dépendant largement des origines historiques de la profession dans chaque pays.
    En Europe, les titres et termes les plus couramment utilisés sont « physiothérapist » et « physiothérapy ». Pour cette raison, « physiothérapist » et « physiothérapy » sont utilisés dans ce document mais peuvent être remplacé par les organisations membre du WCPT en faveur des termes utilisés dans leur pays respectifs. Cela n’aura aucun effet sur la signification du document.
